Levanto is a lovely village on the Ligurian sea, surrounded by a wide valley dotted with medioeval hamlets among vineyards and olive groves. Its alternative way of living made by a combination of good food, slow rhythm of life, care of traditions and local culture made Levanto an ideal place where you can spend your holydays.
The Cinque Terre are just around the corner and you can reach them easily by train or, if you like to walk, by evocative paths winding among the mediterranean environment over cliffs falling vertically to the sea.
Villa Caterina is the right place to stay if you like to enjoy all the opportunities offered by the area.
Only 2 Km (five minutes by car) from Villa Caterina you can find one of the most beautiful beaches in Liguria, a natural gimnasium for acquatic sports, especially surfing. Very close to the house you will find nice country roads and paths which allow you to walk easily around the valley or reach the center of Levanto. For people who like mountainbike there’s a variety of routes at different levels of difficulty. The railway station is only three minutes far by car, there you can leave your car in a large parking lot and take one of the frequent trains to get to Cinque Terre, Portovenere or Portofino.
